Nicole and Dalton’s wedding was a very special one – they were one of the first clients to book us for their wedding in early 2020, but their event was postponed multiple times due to events out of their control. Literally... their original ceremony venue burnt down. 2 years later, Nicole and Dalton were finally able to tie the knot, and we could not have been any more excited to see these two make it through a tough 2 years.
We coordinated a First Look with the new Mr. & Mrs. Something about seeing our couples share that private, beautiful moment on their wedding day always brings out the happy tears.
Nicole and Dalton wanted a rustic (but no burlap!!!), cozy and romantic vibe to their event, and with Cardiff Hall as the perfect blank slate, we were able to create the warm and cozy atmosphere that we easily transitioned from ceremony to reception. Soft colors like dusty blue, sage green, and plenty of greenery along with accents of wood provided the warmth, but the showstopper was the string lighting done by Inside Edge Event Design.
The intimate ceremony of close family and friends was especially memorable as Nicole’s brother, Brett, honored the couple as their officiant. Following the ceremony, the hall was flipped into a magical reception space, with a large, centered dance floor. Guests were served a delicious buffet by Paulina’s Catering, and the dance floor was completely filled, non-stop, until the end of the evening.
Bonus... Pepper the Corgi Pic - Dalton and Nicole's fur baby!
